What makes the Mini Cargobike different from other cargo bikes?

The YOONIT Mini Cargobike is particularly compact, lightweight and shorter than a normal bike. It is a multi-use cargo bike: the frame is the basis for different load carriers that can be attached without tools using quick-releases. This concept creates flexibility and makes the YOONIT usable in the long term, even if the desired type of use should change – exchange the load carrier and customise your YOONIT to suit your life in a new way. With a length of 177.5 cm, the YOONIT Mini Cargobike is shorter than a normal bike. With its compact design, it fits effortlessly into lifts, accompanies you on the train or on the bike rack of your car. You can store it in the cellar, in the hallway or even in your flat.

What are the benefits of a cargo bike?

A cargo bike has a higher load capacity than a normal bike and is a true alternative to a car. Du kannst alleine fahren, dein Kind oder deinen Hund mitnehmen, Einkäufe transportieren, Pakete oder sperriges Material. You can ride alone, take your child or your dog with you, transport groceries, parcels or bulky materials. You don’t need a driving licence, don’t get stuck in traffic jams and don’t have to stress about finding a parking space. This environmentally friendly lifestyle keeps you on the move and contributes to a healthier world.

Is the YOONIT Mini Cargobike more difficult to ride than other bikes?

YOONIT is a short, agile cargo bike that is very easy to ride, even without previous experience with other cargo bikes. Thanks to the steering damper, the steering behaviour can be optimally and individually adjusted. The Shimano EP6 motor provides support in three stages if you opt for the YOONIT Electric. What is the maximum speed of the YOONIT Electric?

With the Shimano EP6 motor, a speed of up to 25 km/h can be reached.

Can I ride the YOONIT Electric without a battery?

If the battery is low during the ride, you can continue riding in any case, but the battery should be recharged straight away at the next opportunity. In general, you should always ride with the battery inserted – without the battery, it is not possible to shift gears and the lighting system will not work.

Upgrading a motor is not intended for a YOONIT Classic.

    Can I lease a YOONIT?

It is possible to lease a YOONIT via business bike leasing offers such as Jobrad.

Can the YOONIT be taken on the train?

In Germany, there are different regulations for carrying bicycles depending on the regional transport association. Please inform yourself in advance about the applicable conditions of carriage.

For car transport – which bike rack is suitable for the YOONIT?

With its wheelbase of 137 cm, YOONIT fits on some of the standard carriers, some of which have telescopic rails. In any case, we recommend a rail width that corresponds to the wheelbase.
